The Neonatal Trust exists to support families going through the stress and anxiety of a neonatal journey, as they make their journey through Neonatal Intensive Care, the transition home, and onwards.
Examples of the support provided can be viewed in this gallery
We do not receive any Government funding and are entirely reliant on the generousity of individuals, companies and organisations in the form of donations, value-in-kind donations, grants, sponsorship and fundraising events to supplement operating costs and fund our services and initiatives.
Gifts for Good has been developed to raise both funds to support families and also raise awareness.
The Neonatal Trust:
- provides support packs, access to information and practical and emotional help
- assists with equipment purchases that directly support families such as specialist chairs for breastfeeding and skin-to-skin (kangaroo) cuddles
- supports neonatal-related medical research. Neonatal care is a comparatively fledgling clinical field. We support research so that the care delivered is enhanced and the long term consequences of prematurity and early health issues are better understood. Read more about some of the research here.
