One of the many beautiful things about the social profit space is the willingness of people to provide their time, skills and ideas to help out the community.
Gifts for Good is a great example of this, and it would not have been possible without the generous support of a number of people. A BIG thank you to all those who have listened, read draft material, reached out to their networks and supported in any way at all.
From our first year in 2016, a very special thanks goes to Gilmours, HELL, Jeroen, Hiremaster, Mojo, and the BizDojo - for more on their efforts, please see below.
Our thanks go to Gilmours who played a pivotal role in developing the concept. Their expertise in food & beverage and enthusiasm for the project helped immeasurably and it is safe to say Gifts for Good would not have happened in 2016 without Gilmours. The 'Big Pack In' is happening at their Wellington premises (with some of their staff volunteering!)
Our thanks go to the great team at HELL. They were incredibly supportive as we developed the concept and then jumped on board with a great deal on the 'Double Deluxe' vouchers in each gift pack.
Our thanks go to the wonderfully talented Jeroen ten Berge, who created the Gifts for Good logo.
An absolute pleasure to deal with, the image came back swiftly and exactly on brief. If you're looking for a designer extraordinaire then check out jeroentenberge.com
Our thanks go to the generous team at Hiremaster Wellington. In support of our 'Big Pack in' they are kindly providing tables for our use. This will be a huge help and save our volunteers too much bending over while they pack the 'Gifts for Good'. To check our their services, head to www.hiremaster.co.nz
Thanks to One Percent Collective who helped us craft our thinking and pull this website together. We've acknowledge their support by making them an official 'Gifts for Good Supporter'
The Neonatal Trust is lucky enough to have ongoing support from One Percent Collective, being a current 'Partner Charity'.
The One Percent Collective proposition is simple: give a tiny amount (1%) of your salary to support charities through regular giving. Their model of raising awareness and facilitating continual giving is perfect for a charity our size. This type of support will enable us to free up time and focus our efforts on the thing which matters most: supporting families going through the stress of a neonatal journey (i.e., moving efforts from fundraising to support initiatives). Check out details of their wonderful model here.
Thanks to the wonderful Trade Me who are supporting Gifts for Good with Banner ads on www.trademe.co.nz and a shout out in their email newsletter. We really appreciate the help with reaching as many people as possible with this awareness and fundraising campaign for The Neonatal Trust. This is another great example of their support of the community. A great organisation with a BIG heart.
Our thanks go to the great team at the Wellington BizDojo who have hosted many a meeting and hours of planning effort!
Finally, whenever possible, we like to say thanks to all the wonderfully talented, patient, and kind doctors, nurses and support staff who care for the precious babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) and Special Care Baby Units (SCBUs). You do an incredible job, which is summed up nicely in the following words from neonatal parents:
"they perform miracles" "angels in uniform" "wonderful, special people" "selfless second mothers"
